Shimba Hills Forest Guides Association (SHIFOGA) was established in August 2004 with the initial purpose of providing professional tour guiding services to visitors of the Shimba Hills Ecosystem interested in the rich biodiversity of the area, hence encouraging sustainable conservation.
The Organization has since expanded its scope which includes the initiation of its nature trail through the forest at the outskirts of the Shimba Hills National Reserve to create awareness of the conservation
agendas important to and within the community.

Mission
The association has an aim to benefit the local community from conservation endeavors within the Shimba Hills ecosystem.

Vision
The Association has a vision for a  Conservation, conscious community.

Goal
Our goal is to witness the community benefiting from environmental/conservation endeavors within Shimba hills
eco- system.
